Your Waxing Appointment: How to Prepare

We want you to love your results. To make the most of your waxing experience, here are a few things to keep in mind as you plan for your appointment.

Exfoliate Before. A few days before your scheduled appointment, it’s a good idea to gently exfoliate your skin and keep the area clean and moisturized, but free of heavy lotions and oils.

Let Your Hair Grow. To get the best results and the most effective wax, your hair needs to be at least ¼” to ½” long. Many people find that waiting between 2 and 4 weeks after their last shave is the ideal time, but generally, the longer you wait, the better your results will be.

Protect Your Skin. You’ll want to avoid extreme sun exposure 2 days before and after your wax to give your skin some time to heal and recover. It’s also a good idea to hold off on sunless tanners and spray tans for at least 1-2 days following your wax.
